How much longer will these announcements go on? Please, hurry up. Those political ads are becoming unbearable. The main reason that I listen to your station, other than my love for the music, is the uninterrupted flow of music. I remember when you used to have your boring and annoying pledge campaigns, I would tune out for the duration of said campaigns. If these annoying political ads continue much longer, I will be forced to do the same. I truly hope that will not be the case. I love the music and the format of the station. And for what is worth, I don't think it is fair that you are being forced to run the ads. So, get yourselves the best legal team you can afford, and go back to the music we love so much.

The trouble with those mexican government ads is that they are written by morons for morons and XLNC1's listeners are anything but.

The mexican government's onslaught of stupid political and electoral ads and commercials is driving me crazy.

Just listened to Gottschalk's "March of Jibaros". The selection should be titled "March of Zombies."

Thanks for the announcement on the radio and the information on the web site. I was confused why what seemed to be ads, though I to not speak Spanish, was interrupting the music I love.

Here visiting from Roma. Why don't you relocate the transmitter to the US if the Mexican government is giving you a hard time? You can still broadcast bilingually. BTW I think your previous format of "The 400 greatest hits of the past 400 years" was better than the current format. Not a fan of show tunes and movie sound tracks, but otherwise kudos to the station!

I hope XLNC1 is successful in convincing the mexican Federal Government that a non-profit classical music radio stattion is not bound to transmit idiotic gibberish in Spanish.

@ The complaint department. Good riddance to you all! You should be grateful and quiet for receiving beautiful music FREE OF CHARGE!

I have been a classical music listener/lover since early 1970, at which time (in my early 20's) I had had enough of the rock music scene. At that time, I listened to KFSD, until they went to the AM dial (and a weaker signal). After they went off the air, I was glad to welcome XLNC1 into my life. But the gladness soon turned sour as I do not know Spanish so I can only perhaps catch a composer's name at the beginning of the selections played – however, many selections go unannounced. I feel that I shouldn’t have to go to the Internet to look up the name of an unfamiliar piece. There are many other stations that announce the name of the piece both before and after. Furthermore (and this is my main complaint), does one really consider Led Zeppelin, ABBA, Beatles, Queen, and Pink Floyd to be on the same level as Bach, Brahms, Mozart, and Lizst? I don’t believe these groups can be considered as creators of the "world's most beautiful music." "Stairway to Heaven" played by an orchestra is still "Stairway to Heaven." Just another example of lipstick on a pig! With the increasingly constant orchestral versions of rock music and the un-named selections that are played on your station, I have found it more rewarding to listen to other stations via the Internet. Reluctantly, I say good-by, adios, auf wiedersehen!

"Time To Say Goodbye!" As a listener since day one of xlnc1.org, I need to say how disappointed I am with today's quality of station programming. Today, with the incessant cacophony of Mexican IFE's and your own continuous Feed Me messages, I find it necessary to move on to alternate sources for my daily classical music fix. Your original station programming, with fewer announcements, and fewer staff for that matter, was an unexpected joy in those times: now you've departed excessively from the programming of those days. I stopped listening to your station, too much political rehetoric. I can't take it anymore.

@ Joan Grine. The mexican commercials are nothing but political gibberish paid for by the mexican government in order to keep the sheeple asleep and under control. @ Hits. This guy Harold Blanchard and his "Joy" sonata is nothing but hellish jazz. Definitely a negative for the station.

Thank you for beautiful, classical music! Because of an excellent music education in the Riverside schools, including the Standard Oil Broadcasts for students, and church choir, I can sing most of the melodic themes. Food for the soul! May I kindly suggest that some of the announcements be made with fewer words, and at a calmer pace and tone, which would be more suitable to your type of programming. I gladly support "The Best Music of All Time!"

I really enjoy listening to your station at night after I go to bed. It serves as our alarm in the morning. I notice you play longer pieces then, at least, not just sections of the works. Are those commercials coming on every half hour? The Spanish is too fast for me to translate, and I have been wondering what is being said.

Thanks to Hits, I just listened to the beautiful music of Frederick Delius ("Walk to the Paradise Garden from A Village Romeo and Juliet"). Such inspiration! Unbelievable!
