MECENAS SOCIETY

The Mecenas Society is named after Cayo Cilnio Mecenas, a man of noble Roman origin who established an institution of patronage cultivated in the Italian Renaissance making his name synonymous with generosity and support of the arts.

The XLNC1 Mecenas Society demonstrates their generosity and vision for the future by taking the necessary steps to make a planned gift. A planned gift can help XLNC1 fulfill its mission of broadcasting quality music to educate and engage listeners at all levels.

A planned gift helps establish a legacy of beautiful music for our community and provides great tax benefits for you and your loved ones.

All members who document their intent to support the station through a planned gift become members of the Mecenas Society. Mecenas Society members enjoy:

  • Annual invitation to our anniversary event as well as an opportunity to meet our on-air talent.
  • Personal tour of our facilities.
  • Acknowledgement in XLNC1’s quarterly newsletter Fortissimo Notes.
  • Acknowledgement on XLNC1’s website dedicated to the Mecenas Society.

If you have already made arrangements to name XLNC1 as a beneficiary of a planned gift, please contact Cynthia Fuentes 619-575-9090 Ext. 413 or email: cfuentes@xlnc1.org.

In Spirit.

Thank you to Mecenas Society Honorary Members Victor Manuel Diaz and Robert Womack for their vision and commitment to preserving beautiful music in our community.  As XLNC1 planned giving pioneers, they help pave the road for future Mecenas Society Members.

- Thank you

Victor Manuel Diaz
