MISSION STATEMENT - PROGRAMMING PHILOSOPHY

You may have noticed some changes in our format here at XLNC1. That’s because we are constantly evolving to reflect the needs of all our listeners, and are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to make our station grow and thrive. Our goal at XLNC1 is to present a variety of music everyone can enjoy. That means fine tuning our programming to suit the tastes of an ever-evolving audience.

Thus we have developed two different focuses in our programming. During the day we will present a balance between shorter classical pieces and single movements from classical works, interspersed with light classical selections, popular songs in orchestral format, and music from films and theater. In the evenings, we will play full-length works to please the listeners who depend on us for the finest in classical repertoire.

Ours will be an “Omnibus” approach, something for everyone: the very best music of all time, to please all generations.

So please keep us on your dial, and we will be here for you, presenting uninterrupted programming you can enjoy throughout the day and into the evenings and weekends.
